PaperPin.ai operates a strict no-refund policy. All credit purchases and payments for services are final and non-refundable once the transaction is completed.

New users receive 500 free credits ($5 value) upon signup. These promotional credits are also non-refundable and subject to the same terms as purchased credits.

Please note that payment processing fees charged by credit card networks and payment processors are non-refundable, even in cases where a refund might be issued. This is an industry standard practice.

5. Polar.sh Discretionary Refunds

Important Notice

While PaperPin.ai maintains a strict no-refund policy, Polar.sh (our payment processor) reserves the right to issue refunds within 60 days of purchase at their sole discretion.

5.1 Chargeback Prevention

Polar.sh may proactively issue refunds to prevent costly chargebacks. This is done at Polar.sh's discretion and is outside of PaperPin.ai's control. Any such refunds issued by Polar.sh do not constitute a waiver of our no-refund policy.

5.2 Chargeback Policy

If you initiate a chargeback with your credit card company instead of contacting us directly:

  • Your account will be immediately suspended
  • Access to the platform and all services will be revoked
  • All credits (including unused credits) will be forfeited
  • Legal action may be pursued to recover damages and fees

6. Limited Exceptions

6.1 Technical Errors

In the rare event of a technical error resulting in:

  • Duplicate charges for the same transaction
  • Credits not being added to your account after successful payment
  • Overcharging beyond the stated price

We will investigate and, if confirmed, issue appropriate credits or refunds. You must report such issues within 7 days of the transaction.

6.2 Service Interruptions

If our service experiences extended downtime (more than 48 consecutive hours) preventing you from using your credits, we may, at our sole discretion, provide credit compensation. This does not constitute a cash refund.
